Reagan, and the \"Just Say No\" idea
This is my second entry today. You know you're a product of the 80s if...
1. Snap bracelets were always getting you in trouble at school.
2. You played with "My Little Ponies".
3. Friendship bracelets were ties that couldn't be broken.
4. You've ever read Nancy Drew, The Hardy Boys, The Babysitters Club, or Sweet Valley High.
5. You wanted to be The Hulk for Halloween.
6. You had a crush on one of the New Kids on the Block members.
7. You can remember what Michael Jackson looked like before he had plastic surgery.
8. You were styling with your french rolled pants.
9. You had puff painted your own shirt at least once.
10. You knew what Willis was "talkin' 'bout."
11. You can remember watching Full House and Saved by the Bell for endless hours.
12. You have seen at least 10 episodes of Fraggle Rock.
13. You hold a special place in your heart for "Back to the Future."
14. You know where to go if you "wanna go where everybody knows your name."
15. You remember Madonna in her cone stage.
16. You knew "The Artist" when he was humbly called "Prince."
17. You ever wore flourescent-neon clothing...
18. You could breakdance, or wished you could.
19. You remember M.C. Hammer.
20. You can still sing the rap to "Fresh Prince of Bel Air".
21. You own any cassettes.
22. You owned a pair of L.A. Gear, Keds, or Converse tennis shoes.
23. You carried your lunch to school in a Gremlins or an ET lunchbox.
24. You have ever pondered why Smurfette was the ONLY female smurf.
25. My Little Pony, Gummy Bears,Transformers, You can't do that on Television, Noozles, KIDS 26. Incorperated, Captian Kangroo, Double Dare, Salute Your Shorts, Seventeen, Punky Brewster, Rainbrow Brite and Hey Dude are familiar to you.
26. You ever had a Swatch Watch or a Doonie and Burke.
27. You actually spent countless hours trying to perfect the "Care Bear stare".
28. You thought that Transformers were more than meets the eye.
29. You spent hours in the basement building and re-building Lego cities.
30. Do Polly Pockets or Popples ring a bell?
31. Big wheels and bicycles with streamers were the way to go.
. 32. With your playschool record player you sang back up to Madonna.
33. "Party like it's 1999" seemed SO far away!!
34. You stayed up all night listening to Teddy Rupskin.
35. You tied your shirt in a knot on the side.
36. When you saw a guy with a big chunky cell phone, you thought about how rich he must be.
37. You loved "After School" specials
38. You used to spend hours trying to perfect the "chicken" look with ratted bangs.
39. You collected Garbage Pail Kids cards.
40. You remeber what life was like without microwaves, cell phones or computers.
